Eva Meyers is the nurse coordinator at the Cancer Center at White Memorial Hospital in Los Angeles, a multiple-time Komen Grantee. Earlier this year, Susan G. Komen Los Angeles County funded a Cancer Support Community grant for this hospital. Eva will be talking about the social services that this grant will provide, the importance of genetic testing, and breast cancer. Susan G. Komen Los Angeles County provides funding for breast health services, breast cancer education and outreach in our Los Angeles County communities.
Ted Burgess (Executive Director) and Jacqueline McGrade (Marketing Director) will be talking about Oakmont of Camarillo. The center is located at 231 Village Commons Boulevard, Suite 15, in Camarillo and will be opening this Winter 2019. This 86,839-square foot community that sits on more than three acres and will have 91 homes, including 60 assisted living and 25 memory care apartments—all located close to shopping, fine dining, the arts and world-class entertainment.
