Madhukar Trivedi, MD, Professor of Psychiatry, Chief of the Division of Mood Disorders, and Director of the Center for Depression Research and Clinical Care at UT Southwestern Medical Center, has been researching the neurobiology and psychology of depression and bipolar disorder, with a particular focus on developing an empirical basis for improving treatment of depression, for 25 years. Dr. Trivedi will be sharing ways to overcome barriers to treatment and new technology approaches as America’s mental illness crisis grows.
