Lynette Coverly is the President elect of NAWBO Ventura County, and also the owner of Coverly Professional Services. She will be joining us along with Michelle Wilner, winner of the Innovator of the Year, at the 20th Annual BRAVO Awards on Friday, April 12, 2019 at the Sierra Center in Camarillo. Celebrating its 20th year, BRAVO is the annual signature event hosted by the National Association of Women Business Owners, Ventura County at which we spotlight women with vision and perseverance who create a bright future for women business owners and leaders in our community.

Davina Decant owner of Industry Horror, a nonprofit screen printing company that employs adults with Autism. Nathan Sprague will be joining her, as he is one of their employees with autism, and he will be talking about his experience on the job. The Industry Horror mission is simple – help those with special-needs through fashion. They are a fashion brand & a non-profit organization founded by artist/designer Ryan DeCant that strives to help both kids and adults with special-needs. They employ these individuals with special needs and help them develop skills and trades skills.

Allison Perks and Chris Roberts are two amazing yoga instructors from Yoga Jones in Ventura that will be sharing their insights into the world of yoga and meditation. Allison teaches prenatal & postnatal yoga and partner workshops. Chris teaches gentle yoga and can give you the senior view on yoga. Yoga Jones offers yoga classes in a wide variety of styles for students with varying interests and needs.

Champ Thompson is a female player for the Harlem Globetrotters after being drafted by the team during their 12th annual player draft in June of 2018. Prior to joining the Harlem Globetrotters she had a stellar playing career for Stanford University and the University of Notre Dame. The Harlem Globetrotters are a worldwide icon, synonymous with family entertainment and great basketball skills. The Globetrotters represent nine decades of breaking down barriers, acts of goodwill and a commitment to fans that goes beyond the game.
