Chef Alberto Lopez is Black Angus Seakhouse’s Head Chef for the Ventura location (4718 Telephone Road, Ventura, CA 93003). Chef Lopez has been with the steakhouse brand for 25 years starting as a dishwasher and making his way up in the kitchen. A hard worker, he is the main guy running Ventura steakhouse’s kitchen and cooking hundreds of guest’s meals, daily, to perfection. As he has been Ventura’s Head Chef since 2018, his experience behind the grill only qualifies Chef Lopez to go up against Black Angus Steakhouse’s reigning Grill Off champion, Culinary Director, Chef Fernando Garcia on Friday, Aug. 11 at the Ventura County Fair.
