The people who experienced the Valley and Wine Country Fires in California have been heavily impacted by it. Some fled the flames in terror, some lost everything including pets and livestock, many did not know if their homes or businesses survived, and evacuees were just waiting to get home. Patricia Ravitz, LMFT, Past President of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, will be talking about dealing with trauma from natural disasters. They’ll also discuss how a marriage and family therapist can help with many issues and the stress to rebuild.
