Ventura Breeze publisher Sheldon Brown is a retired licensed architect and general building contractor who opened his private architectural practice in 1968. He launched the Ventura Breeze in Oct.24, 2007 with daughter Staci to inform Veterans regarding events, happenings and news about Ventura because there was not a local community-based newspaper to inform “locals” regarding Ventura.
