Nelson Cooper is a Ventura artist working out of his design studio, and creating original, remarkable pieces of artwork Over the past four years he has been working on Dead Zone 805, Halloween Haunt. Dead Zone 805 is a post apocalyptic zombie themed Halloween Haunt open October 3, 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 29, 30, & 31!
Gary Blum will be joining us to talk about the Oxnard Steampunk Fest! The event takes place at historic Heritage Square in downtown Oxnard, 11-5pm on Saturday the 17th of October, 2015. Admission to the festival is FREE, Workshops and other activities available for nominal fees. This is a fundraiser for the Oxnard Heritage Foundation and the Friends of Heritage Square, to benefit their educational programming.
Camilla V. Saulsbury is a writer, fitness trainer, endurance athlete, and creator of the healthy food blog PowerHungry.com. She also holds a PhD in sociology with specializations in food studies, health, and medicine. She is the author of “The Chickpea Flour Cookbook – Healthy Gluten-Free and Grain-Free Recipes to Power Every Meal of the Day”.
