We all get nervous about different things in our lives. Maybe we are not good enough, or maybe we are not going to know how to do something. That fear is the only thing that can hold us back. Early on in my life, my dad taught me to look at what was the worst thing that could happen, and work backwards. If you could think that failing a test was the worst thing, maybe your grade, a raise, or whatever the circumstance is, may be what is the very worst. Knowing that now, go out and do your best because now you will be able to deal with it. I think that fear comes from the unknown, so it is important to dissect your situation so that you don’t miss out on life’s opportunities if you are scared to try new things in life. My friends say that I dive in and think about it after the fact, and that it has worked best for me in a lot of situations. So go ahead and take on the world and accomplish all that you were brought here to learn!
