Mike Herbert, author of Stay Healthy During Chemo: The Five Essential Steps, is a PhD naturopath with more than 15 years in practice as a wellness consultant, with a particular emphasis on nutrition and natural healing. When his life was touched by cancer, he turned his full attention to investigating cutting-edge studies on the link between cancer and nutrition. 20-40% of cancer patients die from causes related to malnutrition and 80% of cancer patients develop some form of clinical malnutrition. This book aims to lower those statistics by providing nutrition and therapeutic advice to help a patient’s body stay healthy during and after chemo treatments.

Joan S. Peck, author of Prime Threat: Shattering the Power of Addiction, came from a family who loved to read all categories of books, so it is no surprise that she wanted to write – just not the way it began. After watching her son struggle with addictions from early childhood until his death at the age of 36, Joan was driven to know how his addictions began and why his life ended up the way it did. Working with her son, Jay, from the other side, and asking all the questions she wanted answered, she now shares with you their loving true account of his many lifetimes of addictions and shows you how it is possible to live without addictions now. On her journey to open herself up to receive this information, Joan left her more than 20 years in corporate America and went back to her spiritual roots.
