Grant Leboff is the founder of The Intelligent Sales Club Ltd., a consulting firm that advises clients on sales and marketing strategies. His book “Sticky Marketing” provides a new set of rules for effective communications in a world transformed by new technology. 7am Show: June 17, 2017 – Joanie Fagan and Mandi Edwards “3rd Annual LAUGH IT FORWARD Comedy Event”, Kurt Sauter “Conejo Food & Wine Fest”, & Liz Crocker “Transforming Memories”

Joanie Fagan and Mandi Edwards will be talking about the 3rd Annual “LAUGH IT FORWARD” Comedy Event To Benefit Face Forward on June 22nd at the Comedy Store in Hollywood. Guests will enjoy a night filled with amazing comic talents all coming together to join Face Forward in supporting survivors of domestic violence, human trafficking and other cruel acts of crime.

Kurt Sauter will be talking about the Conejo Food & Wine Fest on June 25th from 1:30-5:30pm at St. Paschal School Grounds. Come sample the best food, wine, beer, desserts that the Conejo culinary community has to offer. Dozens of vendors including restaurants, wineries, breweries, bakeries, distilleries, and more will be there along with live music to round out this great afternoon.

Liz Crocker is the author of “Transforming Memories”. This book is a collection of Liz’s, Polly Bennell’s, and Holly Book’s healing writings and an invitation to others, whatever their past burdens, to use the technique of spontaneous writing to reveal difficult memories more clearly. From different families and different childhoods, these women remember and speak out about the secrecy, silence, and shame of having an alcoholic parent.

Patricia Ravitz is the president of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and a licensed psychotherapist, in private practice for over 25 years. She will be talking about prevalent mental illness is in the state of California and what its residents can do to seek help. She’ll also discuss how a marriage and family therapist can help with many issues ranging from depression, addiction, and eating disorders and matters beyond couples counseling.

Papatya Tankut, R.Ph. is Vice President of Pharmacy Affairs for CVS Health. Tankut is responsible for engaging with nonprofit and health-based organizations to improve and enhance pharmacy care. She will be talkiang about the American Lung Association’s LUNG FORCE initiative with an in-store fundraising campaign. These efforts are part of LUNG FORCE’s mission to make lung cancer in women a public health priority and increase awareness among the nearly 98 percent of women who do not have lung cancer on their health radars.

Dr. Richard Goldstein is currently the Chief Medical Officer at the Animal Medical Center in New York City. Pet owners in New York and New Jersey recently were warned about a deadly disease that is passed through rats.
He will be talking about ways to keep our pets safe in the city as well as sharing tips on how to spot warning signs, symptoms and risk factors for leptospirosis.

Haili Matsukawa, the Environmental Services Specialist from Ventura Water, will be talking about the drought in Ventura, the WaterWi$e 2.0 Incentive Program, Gardening Classes for 2017, Sustainable You Summer Camp, and the Ventura Water Summer Campaign: 95 Ways to Save. Ventura Water is dedicated to providing our community with quality water and wastewater services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Mark Pilon & Jennifer Cohen will be joining us from Susan G. Komen Los Angeles County. They will be talking about the upcoming Babes For Boobs: Los Angeles Live Bachelor Auction on Thursday, June 8th from 7-10pm at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles. Babes for Boobs will donate all the proceeds from the live bachelor auction to the Los Angeles County Affiliate of Susan G. Komen, whose promise is to save lives and end breast cancer forever.
