Marcia Newman, MA, LMFT, brings over 30 years of clinical experience to her work as psychotherapist, addictions specialist, speaker and author. A pioneer in the field of aging and wellness, she is dedicated to help foster healthier aging attitudes and actions. She is the author of “Five Gifts of Pro-Aging: Honoring Maturity in a Culture That Could Use It.” In her timely guidebook, Newman brings a fresh response to an anti-aging American culture. She completed her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University-Malibu, California. Her warmth, humor and knowledge have made her a frequently featured media expert and professional speaker. Newman served as the first Program Manager of the Betty Ford Center Outpatient Services in West Los Angeles.
Stephanie Spruill, accomplished singer, performer, recorder, author, and creator of Spruill House Music School of Music and Artist Development, Inc., speaks on behalf of the upcoming Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure at Dogder Stadium on March 12th.
