In “Redeeming the Feminine Soul: God’s Surprising Vision for Womanhood”, popular national radio host Julie Roys reveals the stunning truth that no one else is talking about: Women are destroying themselves. Internalizing society’s devaluation of the feminine, some women are killing their own natural impulses to pursue a feminist ideal that bears no relation to God’s good design. Other women struggle to conform to a fundamentalist feminine caricature that requires denying their full humanity and gifting.

Candy Zane will be talking about the 4th Annual Lady Boss Holiday Boutique on Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 10am-4pm in Camarillo. Bring the whole family! The orchard will be full of Holiday Cheer and Wonder. There will be 50 local artists, crafters, and vendors from our local area. Home decor, kitchenware, children’s toys & books, jewelry, health & beauty care, clothing and accessories for all ages, handmade blankets, and so much more! All proceeds will go to the children of Casa Pacifica.
Visit https://www.casapacifica.org/ for more information.

Dr. Gregory Jantz is the author of “Healing the Scars of Childhood Abuse: Moving Beyond the Past into a Healthy Future”. He helps readers understand the effects of childhood abuse on their emotional, intellectual, physical, relational, and spiritual health. He then outlines the steps to lasting healing, including grieving what was lost, learning to balance emotions with intentionality, regaining a positive relationship with one’s own body and mind.

Jack Cheevers, spokesperson for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), will be telling us everything we need to know about the Medicare Open Enrollment period. If you have a Medicare health or prescription drug plan, you only have until the end of Open Enrollment, December 7th, to make changes to your 2018 plan. Even if you are happy with your current Medicare coverage, you might find something better. If you miss the Open Enrollment deadline, most people will have to wait a full year before to make changes to their plans.
