Paw Works is a nonprofit rescue organization that gives local animals a second chance at life. Founded in 2014, by Chad Atkins, Paw Works has rescued close to 1,500 abandoned dogs and cats and placed them in permanent, loving homes. Their mission includes education and awareness to address animal overpopulation at its source, and we provide free spaying, neutering, vaccines and microchipping to pets in underserved areas of Ventura County. Learn more about their upcoming Paw Works Golf Classic Tournamutt HERE.
Adam Womack speaks on behalf of Elite Theatre Company, located at Channel Islands Harbor Fisherman’s Wharf at the site of the old Maritime Museum. The Elite Theatre Company (ETC) has been entertaining, educating and enriching its audience since 1994 and it is currently playing “Men of Tortuga,” the Black Comedy/Thriller by Jason Wells and Directed by Tom Eubanks. With a grand sense of humor about misinterpreted metaphors and think-tank buzz language, Tortuga gives us absurd savages in suits, drinking good bourbon and plotting destruction. ETC brings together the local talents of amateurs and professionals who share a passion for theater and who generously volunteer their time on the stage and behind the scenes. This collaboration creates a variety of quality live theatrical productions showcased in our unique setting. Come Catch “Men of Tortuga” now through May 15! For Tickets click HERE.
